saving money on lights

over the years i have found out that if you get things other than there intended use they tend to be cheaper

#1-most pet store sell aquarium lights for around $20 for a 1' light and the price gets even bigger with the larger lights

so i few people on the OKCAA forum suggested to me that i should get a strip light. so went out and got a 48" strip light for $10.....wanna steal!!!

the same light would be $120+ if bought as a "aquarium light"



so that one way to save money. ill have another post up on money savers.
