Turtle heat lamp

almost every fish store Ive been to has Flukers or Zoo-Med heat lamps, And most sell a 5" dome heat lamp for around $25 or $30. So i went over to a Super Walmart and went to the desklamp isle. They sell a 60watt desk lamp for about $10. A 60 watt is perfect for my setup but you can use whatever you want, Never use a lamp with a bulb that is rated over the lamp output I.E. using a 80watt bulb in a 70watt lamp, that's a big no no. I put my heat lamp around 6" away from my heat lamp(desk lamp) and i get around 85'-95' so thats perfect with my turtle, and i use a night lamp so i can keep it on all night long and still get the temp i need.
